  Touching on missy04's idea; what would your main points be?

  missy04 suggested a 'counter jw tract' for people being lured into the borg.

  now, remembering that a tract is 'small and informative' and meant to 'whet the appetite' (appetite?

  ... make me sick more like), what do you think should be included?

  the server is currently disabled.. i thought kent said that we had until the end of the month before the site was removed?.

  now how are we going to save the files we wanted to save?.

  what was it that was the real eye opener for you?.

  for me, it was after watching the video, "jehovah's witnesses; a non-prophet organization," and the point on how the org puts itself in a place between jesus and mankind.

  a position which does not exist scripturally.

  The day I found out what happened to my daughter when she had been sent to the park by Super Fine mother in law's worldly nephews. My daughter was 10 years old. The nephews were 16 and 14. When Mother in law was confronted with this revelation, her response? "Oh, he has always had mental problems. Jehovah will repay in his time." My daughter is still reaping the rewards of her criminal stupidity.

  For the Old Home lurkers: Mother in Law had better get on her knees and thank her worthless god that there is quite a physical distance between us.

  Beatles or Rolling Stones Fan, which were/are you?

  perhaps you have to be one of those who grew up in the 60's to really appreciate this thread, but then my kids love 60's music too.

  who did you think were the best, the beatles or the rolling stones?

  is there a bit of a psychological angle here too?

  The Beatles. They changed rock and roll forever. John, Paul, George and Ringo even influenced the Stones.

  I used to save my lunch money to by LP records. Glad that was way before Michael Jackson bought the Lennon/McCartney catalog.

  on the contrary, he went towards those who needed help the most.

  if the jw's followed jesus footsteps, they wouldn't shun.

  what a bummer!!!!

  following on from another crap week at work, i consolled myself with the fact that today was friday and looked forward to a long weekend beering it up, going to dinner tommorow night at a girlfriends, lazing about etc etc all good weekend stuff.......and then....... i couldn't find my wallet.. i've just about torn the house apart looking, retraced all my steps from when i last had it (i paid for some petrol up the texaco garage last night), searched underneath my car seats, underneath the sofa, all my pockets, cupboards, drawers, no stone unturned etc etc i've just given up now and cancelled all my cards, and put the 80 that was in it down to a lost cause.. i want to know 3 things...... 1. has one of you lot pinched it?.

  the only wt publication i brutally destroyed was a brand new copy of the revalation book.

  i was so frustrated with the religion that i ripped the goddam thing into a hundred pieces.

  it was a great way to take my anger out on it.. years later when i was dating this one girl, she had a copy of that same stupid book.
